Concept Story
One of my goals was to explore the connections between the world and myself. I began with reducing the amount of time I spend focusing on self, and increasing the time for listening, seeing, and reflecting on how nature, the city, and people interacted. It is a constant conversation we need to make.
The colours in this painting continue to flow as if they are chatting with one another. When you look closer at it, you see not only the various texture of paint application, but also some visible threads and invisible lines travel consciously between the paint. This is my visualisation of how we can often make sense of things by looking back and connecting the dots in the past.
This is a part of the three abstract paintings in the series, “My Corporate Life”.
